9/11 Generation 

There is a forthcoming Netflix documentary during the month of the 25th commemoration of 9/11 titled , Generation 9/11. Those of us that were either infants or youths during 9/11 can attest it was a turning point of the globe we reside. It shifted the reality we were accustomed to permanently.

The tragedy of “war” are “casualties” and what stems generations to come. The documentary introduces the actuality that undeniably that not solely the USA but broadly that tragedy molded what occurred afterward.

The footage and accounts of the act of “war” IE the Hiroshima atomic bomb brings summons the query and the resolve is when is retaliation adequate? Conversely the treachery of imperial Japan during WWII.

There are rules of war that were shaped by the violations of WWII therefore when civilians are “collateral” damage it isn’t “war” it’s a fundamental violation of human rights and or terrorism.

I had posted of the following prior. Prince released a song and video titled ,Cinnamon Girl, surrounding the issue of the vigilant attitude towards Browns and some Blacks the resembled browns or were Muslim following the 9/11 attacks. Per the presentation of the documentary the events that followed 9/11 is the moment that xenophobia, racism, colorism, etc kicked into another dimension. It's where the Black and Brown Lives Matter upheaval stemmed, hate Crimes against Muslims, Jews oddly enough because of Anon Conspiracy Theories that are of the ignorant opinions the Jews were responsible therefore "an inside job", the political climate of 2020s, etc. Nada but negativity stemmed from 9/11. That was the point of the song and video that was banned from stations such as MTV because of the subject matter and the point of it.
