Happy Indigenous Peoples Day!
Over 500 years later we are here. I was honored to participate in the Indigenous Peoples Day Parade with the rest of the Nanyehi cast of whom I'm a 5th generation descendant Nanyehi Ward. I glanced at the browns and descendants that the US Government tried to wipe from the face of the earth but by God we here. It was an American Holocaust. To experience the swelling pride of the youth and the elder spectators was a tear jerker. We war whooped and sang throughout the parade.
