Locked Up Abroad - Factual Brokedown Palaces

There is an educational episode of Locked Up Abroad I’ve post of the series prior. The episode recounts of a young Woman lured into narcotics trafficking by a slick “music producer” of Season 5 episode 7. Her recount of the story of essentially being deceived and then forced to traffic narcotics is a usual tale and reminiscent of the 1999 cinematic film Brokedown Palace I’ve posted of prior. It’s a cautionary but frequent tale of naive females or Women trusting these males that are grooming them essentially to traffic narcotics, it’s similar to sex traffickers. A few red flags were typical of the account. The Woman profile wise, she was soft spoken and timid. She was easily lured by the greaseball from the beginning. The story went she was at a BBQ accompanying her small daughter, he approached, and within the conversation began asking her to accompany him to his Miami residence, he professed he would “Change her life.” She agreed, shortly following he like any predator or abuser revealed his controlling abusive nature, it led to him luring her to Panama, he abandoned her there claiming he would meet her in Paris, she was instructed to carry a bag that was weighty by narcotics. She further was sent on a spree of boarding a bus to Costa Rica then from Coast Rica a flight to Cuba that was headed to Paris.

Rewind the red flags ablaze of any predator of any gender or abuser. They’re snake oil salesmales or salesfemales. They’re called Romeo or Finesse pimps or traffickers. They profess premature sentiments, they isolate to a second location, etc. Like the Skip Carn character of Brokedown Palace the unscrupulous have enacted it hundreds instances prior they will enact it hundreds again. The slogans he wielded was a textbook predator or criminal lexicon. It is the lexicon of every predator or abuser’s phrase and behavior. Oh they’ll “Change your life” alright off a cliff. Her profile was prime predator target she was soft spoken and timid. Hindsight the narcotics dealer was holding her child but it would’ve been wise to be honest to customs upfront asking for assistance by stating that the drug pusher was holding her daughter but she didn’t. Like Brokedown Palace she was likely the fall Woman because of a courier. That’s a frequent occurrence they recruit a fall person so that a courier can be permitted through usually carrying larger shipments of narcotics etc. Season 5 Episode 9 the Barbados episode is a prime example of individuals that aren’t who they portray themselves to be.
