Melungeons

I've posted of the diaspora of Melungeons prior aside from being Indigenous mainland and Pacific Islander, Melungeons ancestry, Lumbee, Creole, Latin, and AAPI. The video below is a succinct history of our ancestry and the oppression of the USA government. The diaspora number averages at 200,000. It's the lineage predominantly where my Black ancestry and Jewish ancestry stems except for a sole ancestor that was a Black slave whom was sexually assaulted by a white slave owner from ages 11 - 14 bearing 3 offspring by him. She, her small son, and daughters eventually ran away and cultivated an Appalachia safe haven I've posted of umpteen the nearly 2 decades I've been a social media proponent.

There was a 2007 documentary titled Melungeon Voices that began publicly unearthing the reality of Melungeons.

It depends upon the lineage of the Melungeon family some were admixed by umpteen ethnicities while another was triracial as opposed to Multi Ethnic. A typical Melungeon such as my lineage that isn't triracial is a blend of

Black African

Mainland Indigenous tribes (majority of them are tribes that were eradicated by colonization such as the Siouan), Eastern Cherokee, and or Saponi

Portuguese/Spanish

Jewish (Frequently Sephardic however Ashkanazi is frequently an admixture)

North Africa. Berber of Morocco and or Arabi

South Asian Roma (descendants of the Rajput), Sri Lankan, etc

European Indentured Servants

Some have Turkish roots, etc.
