Rationale of Vocational Shift

There was an article by Broadway World of a gentleman within his late 30s - early 40s that vacated a Broadway vocation favoring the medical sector. I've been vocal of the rationale that occurs aside from frequently it's a young person's vocation because of the taxing demands of the sector. IE Dancers, Singers, Musical Artists, etc. Several shows a day depending, the amount of physical training, touring, auditions, etc. Aside from that unless an artist is an established celebrity Broadway artists or non wealthy artists aren't paid the amount the public is of the impression. It's far from wealthy to put it blunt. The sector bounces from demanding grueling jobs, onto another audition of nada guarentee, survival jobs to pay the bills, etc. Fashion similar. Fashion models and certainly not typical content creators frequently aren't wealthy. It's typically paycheck to paycheck that is lacking large amounts unless a creator is a mainstream celebrity. Any that presents otherwise is dishonest and or receiving money from another source or sources. Musical acts etc same. Unless you're a huge musical E

Vocationally pivoting is frequently stemmed from burn out and the requirement of financial security. A typical talent can attend anywhere from 10 - 20 auditions/castings daily and not receive a single callback or a minute number. Example a couple of weeks prior I completed 61 castings/auditions I received 2 responses and 1 job. That is typical for a talent signed or not. I am signed to a SAG franchised agency, SAG and Equity eligible, etc. Have a resume. Again that's the rationale talents pivot from the sector it's bandwidth depleting. Talents have bills to pay.
