Voodoo Hoodoo - New Orleans 

I've posted of the subject prior being a Christian that' will be an ordained minister. It's Halloween week and during this week there is many a debate of the Christian aperçu of Halloween. It isn't Satans day it can be if it's concocted by by witches, warlocks, the demonic, etc. Halloween is factually stemmed from a Christian holiday coined Saints Day. Halloween is the eve of it.

Wontly the subject of voodoo and hoodoo arises and certainly the rise of new age practices etc that aren't that ancient whatsoever as there is no unbroken chain to the "ancestors" being there isn't much information about new age witchcraft anyhow other than it began gaining traction during the 1960s and 70s. Unlike new age jibber jabber Voodoo is native to Africa a result of the Atlantic slave trade it was brought to America and the Caribbean. Hoodoo is a blend of New Orleans Indigenous, African, and European. I've visited New Orleans occasionally, I've roots stemming from New Orleans of Creole and African descent, etc. It's a phantasmagoric city however it has its issues of Hoodoo and Voodoo.

Voodoo and Hoodoo is veritable it isn't to play with. These practices frequently drive those that play with it to lunacy. None of that can be wielded against a born again Christian it returns to the sender 10 fold. There was a Woman preacher that spoke of the preve of New Orleans voodoo and hoodoo.

There was a highly fictionalized Hollywood film that carries a valuable paradigm of the sensible rationale of not playing into it. There is no such thing as ghosts. "Ghosts", "Spirits", etc are solely demons.

There is truth to the ,Skeleton Key, tale. There is such a practice witches, hoodoos, voodoos, etc or typical demons enact called "destiny swapping" that isn't a sacrifice or possession of the physical sense. It's more manipulative coordinated behavior of basically syphoning and repurposing resources, opportunities, traits of the targeted person, etc from a rightful intended party and allocating everything that wasn't supposed to be theirs to themselves or rather what God permits but to an extent. However they never really garner anything long term from it. It's short term. They'll struggle and never be content because they're leaching from the rightful parties of what wasn't meant to be theirs. IE careers, relationships, etc. The entire fruition of it won't ever be theirs totally because it wasn't designed for them. They'll habitually be second or third wheel and or utterly misery. This is enacted through typical witchcraft behavior such as copycatting behavior, bullying, sabotage, surveillance/monitoring, cut throat behavior, etc. It's far more subtle than what hollyweirdo portrays.

I will post that it wouldn't be bright to poke about establishments that carry a dark lore. Slaves were raped, beaten, or killed on occasion by their exploiters. It's the devil's den that would be susceptible to demonic activity.
