Happy Indigenous Peoples Day!
Over 500 years later we are well. I was honored to be a participant of Indigenous Peoples Day Parade with the rest of the Nanyehi cast of whom I'm a 5th generation descendant of Nanyehi Ward. I glanced at the browns and descendants that the US Government tried to wipe from the face of the earth but by God we've endured. It was an American Holocaust. Towelling pride of the youth and the elder spectators was a tear jerker. We war whooped and sang throughout the parade.
